高崎晃氏がステージをはじめ様々なシチュエーションで愛用中のCAT’SFactory製シグネイチャーペダル“AT-222”。
高崎氏が海外ツアー用のボードにも導入し、ファンの方からも販売のお問い合わせが非常に多かったブラックカラーバージョンがスポット生産品として登場です！
従来のAT-222はLOUDNESSのイメージカラーともいえる印象的な赤白のライジング・サンでペイントされた筐体でしたが、今回のブラックバージョンは梨地塗装を艶消し部分と艶有り部分に塗り分けてライジング・サンの模様を表現。さらに、赤白バージョンでは「81-14」となっていた左下のプリントは「8I-I8」の文字がプリントされております。「81-18」ではなく「8I-I8」と1がIに変換されている点はKillerのKG-PRIMESignature8118と同じで、この数字に対する高崎氏のこだわりがうかがえます。高崎氏の意向によりGAINツマミはブラックカラーになっており、そのGAINツマミの横にはモード切替のミニスイッチを装備。「Regular」側では高音域を絞り中音域を重視したモード、「LOUDNESS」側ではラウドなブーストモードとなります。また、エフェクトON時はGAINツマミが「0」でも原音よりブーストされている設定となり、OFF時にはトゥルー・バイパスシステムを採用しているので原音を損ないません。高崎氏も大絶賛の非常に優秀なクリーンブースターで音の太さとハリ、音圧感が増し、バンドサウンドでも埋もれないパワフルな音像になり、クリーンサウンドでもハリとツヤが増し、若干コンプ感も加わるのでナチュラルに音の粒立ちが良くなります。もちろん、市販されるAT-222は高崎氏が使用している物と同一の配線材を採用し、同じサウンドが出力されるように時間を掛けて製作されております。
