アメリカ人現代音楽作曲家、ラ・モンテ・ヤング（La Monte Young）、ジャクソン・マック・ロー（Jackson Mac Low）ら、「フルクサス（FLUXUS）」と関わりを持つアーティスト25名の作品集。 
 
「フルクサス」は、1960年代に展開した前衛芸術運動である。ラテン語で「流れる、変化する」という意味を持つ通り、演奏やパフォーマンス、マルチプルやオブジェといった様々な形式の作品を制作する芸術家が、領域や地域を超えて構成した国際アーティスト集団である。 
 
「フルクサス」メンバーであるヤングとマック・ローが編集を担当した本書は、楽譜、視覚詩、コンクリート・ポエトリー（具体詩）、グラフィック、インストラクション・アートやエッセイを含む多様な作品が寄稿されている。ブックデザインは「フルクサス」創始者であるリトアニア系アメリカ人デザイナー、建築家のジョージ・マチューナス（George Maciunas）が手掛けた。本書は、「ニューヨーク近代美術館（MoMA, The Museum of Modern Art）」のコレクションにも加わった貴重な一冊である。
